Not as big a week on the results front as last week, but still some excellent results to report on. First up during the week was Ronan Kearns who finished 20th overall and the Irish team 4th in the cross country event which was part of the World Indoor Masters championships in Torun ,Poland.
Yesterday was the Bhaa Dublin City Council 4 mile in Raheny. Our first home was Paul Fleming who was 2nd overall ( 1st O/40 – 21.08) Next up was Phil Kilgannon in 9th place ( 3rd O/40 – 22.44) followed by Andy Davies ( 3rd O/55 – 25.38) and Mick Gygax ( 4th O/55 – 26.05).
Today we had the Dunboyne 10k with some excellent results to report. Brian Geraghty was 12th overall ( 1st O/45 – 32.06 PB) , Paddy Lyons ( 33.36) Peter O’Toole (35.55) Barry Aherne ( 36.59) Tom Feeley (37.11) Niamh Devlin ( 37.37 – 3rd Female) David Tonge ( 39.07) Conor Cleary ( 39.22 PB) Sonya McConnon ( 39.31) Jason Harte ( 39.32) Sabrina Keogh (42.39) and Peter Lantry ( 49.33)
Finally at the really tough Annagh Hill IMRA where even the top finishers had to walk part of the uphill section we had Cathal De Barra as our first finisher in 20th followed by Brian McGuickian in 26th and Tanya Sheridan was 6th female.
