A good week on the competition front. Firstly, we had Ronan H finishing 3rd overall in the Sandymount Night run 10k in a new PB (39.30). It was great to see Ronan getting among the prizes for the first time.
On saturday Laura continued her recent impressive form with an excellent 3rd place at the Intervarsity cross country in Sligo. Also on saturday we had a number running in the BHAA cross country in Maynooth.First home was Fergal R (11th – 4th O/40) followed by Eoin K(25th) Jason (26th) Robbie C (31st) Alan K (32nd) and Andy D (48th – 4th O/50).
At the Leinster Indoors Ronan improved on his 2.03 from last week with a 2.02 for the 800m in the Leinster Indoors and 4th place in the senior race. Paul F won the 0/40 1500m in a time of 4.25.
Alan B ran 38.55 for his 10k in Kinvara over the weekend as well.
