Today at the Leinster Inter / Masters cross country championships in Dunboyne , TTracers came away with 3 Leinster champions. Tom Lupton continues his remarkable progress and achieved his first top of the podium finish by winning the intermediate championships. In the masters race Ian Conroy was 2nd in the O/35 and Phil Kilgannon 14th. In the O/40 race Clive Quinn won gold with Paul Fleming 4th and Andy Nason 14th. In the O/45 we had another victory with Des Kennedy taking gold and Niall Lynch bronze.
Also today was the Imra hill race in Howth with Tim Chapman 17th, Caoimhin Mac Maolain 20th and Geoff Duff 44th.
Yesterday, we had the Art O’Neill challenge We had 3 in the top 10 with Brian Kitson , Robbie Costelloe and Fergal Connolly. ( Official results to be confirmed)
Over in Edinbrough Linda Byrne was 3rd ( 18.33 ) Niamh Devlin 4th (18.55) and Brian Byrne running 18.41 in 5k around Arthurs seat.
At the Bhaa in Tymon we had fine runs from Fergal Whitty (3rd) Colm Costelloe (4th) Brian O Mhurcu (10th) Alan Bernie (24th) Graham Woods ( 31st) Ed Hayes (34th) Padraic Shortall (37th) and Tomas Dunne.
