Good day at a wet and miserable st endas park for today’s eircom cross country. In the women’s race we had first and second place with Irene Gorman winning and illona McElroy taking the runners up spot. In the mens race Laura Shaughnessy used this race for her return to competitive action and finished 8th overall just behind our own Phil Kilgannon in 7th. Brian Ó Murchú was next in 13th followed by Alan Bernie in 21st Graham Woods 25th John phelan 31st and Tomas Dunne .
