Smaller report than what we have been sending in the last few weeks. Even so the results form the races were impressive.At the Mourne Half Marathon we had a podium finish in the form of Liz Wheeler with her second place finish in a time of 1:42.20
On Friday evening Clive Quinn continues to impress with a sub 16 minute run over 5k at the Patrick Bell 5k in Bohermeen. Clive finished in a time of 15.58 for 4th place overall and winner of the O/40 category.. Others performing extremely well were Ronan Dunphy (16.34) and Tom Feeley ( 17.29).
At Imra on Wednesday , the venue was Prince William’s Seat and we had our usual crew in attendance with Caoimhin MacMaolain being our first finisher this time in 20th followed by Robbie Costelloe 23rd,, Brian McGuickan 27th, Brian Kitson 34th Ollie McGrath 48th, Aidan Blake 51st and Peter Doyle 104th.
