On the racing front Ruth Fitzgerald won the Waterford Half Marathon in an excellent time of 1:19.58
We had a number competing at the Jingle Bells 5k Saturday morning. First home was Paul Fleming in 16.02 ( 2nd O/40) followed by John McAuley (16.38) with Peter Barry next (17.28 ) Mark O’Connor (11th O/40 – 17.31 PB) Illona McElroy ( 17.47 – 2nd O/35) Niall Fox (18.21 – PB) Rober Gilligan (18.35) Barbara Murray ( 1st O/45 – 1915) Rob Brannigan (19.39) Brian McGuickin (19.46) and Christine O’Connor (24.13)
