Small report this week ,but interesting nonetheless. Yesterday Laura represented Ireland at World Mountain Running Championships which were held in Bulgaria. She finished in a fine 32nd place which was the highest of all the Irish runners on the day. Keeping the international feel to the report Paul G finished 5h overall and 1st o/40 in a field of over 6,000 runners in the San Francisco Giant 10k race in a time of 36.26. One result which I recently missed was Peter G 3rd place finish in the Orkney Islands Half Marathon.Another result which I missed was Robbie C fine 4th place finish at the Hellfire Charity race. Finally well done to Shane Co on yrt another pb down in Cork . This time finishing 12th overall in the St Lukes 5k in a time of 16.51.
