Cross country season is back with the various county novices championships being held around the country. We had a number competing in the Dublin Cross Country in the Phoenix Park yesterday with Vinnie finishing in a fine 4th place for his club (Crusaders) . He was followed home by Conor Mac ( Sportsworld – 22nd) Peter O’ ( Crusaders – 31st) Fergal R ( Donore – 34th) and Graham H ( Donore – 60th). In the Wicklow equivalent both Caoimhin and Robbie C represented their club Greystones.
One other result in the last week was Niamh’s fine 2nd place finish at the Twilight 5k in Sandyford on Thursday night ( 18.32).
