Small report this week but a significant one all the same. We had two representatives competing for Ireland at the European Mountain Running Championships in Arco Italy at the weekend. Laura finished 18th and Sonya 29th to help Ireland to their highest finish in this event in 5th place
Fergal R has been busy competing of late and continued again this week . Firstly he finished in 4th overall and 1st 0/40 in the Bhaa Trail race on Tuesday in the Phonex Park and showing no ill effects he turned out again on Thursday for 14th place (35.39) in the Clonee 10k. Also competing in Clonee were Alasdair (37.31 and Alan K (38.50).
We also had a victory this week with Paul G winning the Malahide 10k Summer Run in 36.32.
