Good results from the various races over the weekend. Down in Dungarvan we had first and third in the ladies race with Laura Shaughnessy (56.47) first and Ruth Fitzgerald third ( 60.33). We had another female victory yesterday when Irene Gorman made in two in a row in the BHaa ,this time winning the Garda race. In the men’s race Brian Ó Murchú was our first home in 13th followed by Alan Bernie 17th Graham Woods 27th Pearse Coyle 29th (2nd O/50) Tomas Dunne 58th Andrew Davies 90th and Mick Devine 103rd.
In Trim today Terry Brady was our first home in 58.16 and the girls continue to impress with both running PB’s Eimear Fitzmaurice 64.46 and Sabrina Keogh 69.32.Another PB came from Kieran Murphy who ran 61.34 and finish 7th in O/50 category. Maurice mcCrohan ran 65.12
Finally no results from Imra ticknock where we had five competitors, Robert Costello, Caoimhín MacMaoláin, Brian Kitson, Gareth Little and Geoff Duff
