A couple of firsts are to the fore from the weekend’s competition. A first place came in the shape of Tom winning the Laois Intermediate cross country. Its always great to taste victory , so well done Tom. Another first came in Wicklow Intermediates where Robbie C ( 10th ) and Caomhin (13th) helped Greystones A/C to their first team medal ever.
Other results over the weekend saw Niamh D finish 2nd in the Women’s BHAA cross country in Castleknock. In the men’s race Phil was 17th and Tomas 71st.
At the Run for Catherina 10k in Cavan Niall was 4th overall (1st O/35 – 34.45) .Finally Damien and Des continued their marathon preparations by running the 3/4 marathon in Enfield.
