Well done to everyone who ran the Rock & Roll Half Marathon yesterday. Most of them are using it as part of preparation for Berlin / Dublin which comes up later in the year. Dest Trembe ran 78.58 with David Tonge running 85.37 (PB) ,David Naylor (87.18) Seamus Ruddy (88.09) Ken Norgrove (88.38) Florence Curley (89.13) Robert Gilligan (92.28) Sabrina Keogh (94.19) and John Fennelly ( 1:41.41).
Last Monday was the DLR 10k in Dun Laoghaire with Phil Kilgannon running (35.59) Ian Martin (40.37) Shane Toman (40.46) and Kiera Roche (41.30) .
On Wednesday The Sugar Loaf race brought an end to the Leinster League with Niall Lynch our first home in 6th followed by Marton Gaynor 13th , Brian Kitson 17th, Peter Doyle 118th and Mick Gygax 128th.
On Friday night Tom Feeley ran 17.10 in the Athboy 5k. Saturday evening was the Streets of Galway 8k with James Hoare running 28.26 and Alasdair Brown just behind him in 28.55.
Finally and by no means least Barbara Murray finished 3rd female with a new PB for 10 miles at the Monaghan 10 mile.
