A few results from the various races that were held over the weekend. Bear in mind that I am still waiting for official results to be posted on the various websites. At Powerscourt Ridge , Imra were holding their last race of the year with a short course race and a long course race being held. In the short course Kate O’Mahony posted victory adding to the list of female victories being achieved from the group this year. Over the long course Des Kennedy had a fine run to post 2nd place. Brian Kitson after his recent marathon pb also had a fine run but no official placing yet. Liz Wheeler was also competing but no result there either.
At the Remembrance 5k , they aren’t posting official results but Pearse Coyle ran 18.52.
At the Leinster Senior Cross Country we had 5 runners for their different clubs with Ian Conroy our first finisher in 6th place followed by Clive Quinn 15th, Tom Lupton 16th, Phil Kilgannon 25th and Andy Nason 55th.
Don’t forget we are holding our Annual Night out this Friday in the Trinity Pav kicking off at 6.00pm. There will be a small charge of 5 euro to cover the finger food on the night. This will be collect on the night . It looks like we are going to have a large number in attendance . I f you still want to come along you are all more than welcome. The more the merrier.
