A good day today at the Rock & Roll Half Marathon which incorporated the National Champioinships. Our first home in 12th place was Ian Conroy in a time of 71.03.He was followed by Niall Lynch ( 75.38) Clive Quinn (75.44) Phil Kilgannon (76.44) Catriona Jennings ( 2nd Female – 78.55) Kieran Murray (79.05 PB) Sean Fox (79.20) Ed Hayes ( 81.59) Tim Murray (83,46) Chris Byrne (88.30 PB) and Tim Chapman (91.19). At the Rock & Roll 10k Conor McCarthy finished 3rd overall (36.31).
Yesterday evening was the Streets of Galway 8k. Paul Fleming was our first home in 27.06 ( 3rd O/40) followed by Carloine Crowley ( 2nd Female – 29.04) Alasdair Brown (29.11) and Illona McIllroy ( 6th Female- 30.18)
