Well done to all who competed at the Terenure 5 mile today . First home from the group and 2nd O/40 was Brian G in 27.12 . Next up was Phil in 28.18 followed closely by Colm C in 28.22 with the two Alan’s next with Alan B running 30.22 and Alan K 31.14. Diane had a good run break 40 minutes for first time with 39.32.
Yesterday as you all probably know was the Wicklow Way Relay with victory going to TT Racers for the second consecetive year. It was a record margin of 23 minutes. All the team ran magnificently with Rory and Laura posting course records for their legs. Our second team agonisly lost out on 3rd place by a mere 40 seconds with 3 of the team posting 2nd fastest times overall on their respective legs. Even the 3rd team performed magnificently with 8th overall. A special mention must go to Tim M , Alan H and Jean for answering the call in the last week onto the team and running brillianlty to boot..Great event, Great day and Great perforamnces.Roll on next year.
