A good weekend was had on the competition front. On Thursday PAul F rounded off his preparations for this weekends National Masters T & F with a 5th place at the Drogheda AC graded series over 1500m ( 4.24) Illona also competed in the 3k and was first lady in 10.30.
At the Dublin Ironman yesterday Sean B finished 22nd overall and 3rd in his category. Sean ran 80.16 for the Half Marathon which was one of the fastest of the day. Colm B finished 132nd ( 2th in category) running 1:31.49 for the half. Rachel who is getting married this weekend ,Best of luck from everyone at TT Racers,, finished 2nd in her category (1:40.18)
At the Celbridge 5k Paul G was 12th overall in a new PB of 16.54 and Ed was 18th ( 17.32). Another PB came from Shane M at the Duleek 10k in 36.44 and a big PB came from Peter B ( 12 minutes) at the Monaghan 10 miler (62.57) . At the 5 miler at the same venue Colm M was 8th overall in 33.16
Finally at the Trial for the upcoming World Mountain Running Championships which are to be held in Bulgaria Laura and Sonya finished 1st and 2nd respectively.
