We had a big number at the Frank Duffy 10 miler in the Phoenix Park yesterday with 4 of our guys finishing in the top 20. Michael McMahon was our first home in 8th place in a time of 53.28 with Brendan Murphy next in (14th- 55.48) followed by Fergal Whitty (16th -55.58) Paddy Lyons (18th -56.14) Barry Aherne (60.44) Shane McAuley (61.45) Brian Kitson ( 62.53 PB) Alan Bernie (65.10) Tim Murray (66.06) Ronan Fennell (72.44) Johnny O’Brien (73.35) Chris Bigley (74.04) Leah Benson ( 74.20 PB) and Dermot McAuley (74.33 )
Leah Benson ran her 2nd PB in 2 days with a 20.30 performance and 2nd Female in the Longford 5k
Keenan Furlong ran 3:16.37 at the Longford Marathon as well today.
Yesterday Tom Lupton won the Oylegate 10k in 34.11 whilst Des Kennedy finished 6th overall in the Strandhill Warriors run with Tom Feeley 33rd and Deirdre Byrne finished 4th female.
