A good weekend on the competition front from the group. We had a 1st and 2nd at the Na Fianna 5k with Fergal R ( 17.59) claiming victory from Shane Mac ( 18.33) . Paraic O’C also had a fine run for 8th place (20.12). Another victory came from Laura who continues her recent impressive form with victory at the Killarney 5 mile (28.54). Mary finished 2nd in the Kildalkey 5k while Jason ran a fine 38.43 for the Kilmovee 10k. Bob B won the Castletown parkrun in 18.49 and finally Damien had a PB for the Clontarf 10 (78.45).
