Firstly want to wish you all a happy new year and here is to a successful 2018 for everyone in TTRacers.
A few races to report on over the festive period.On St Stephens Day we had the Streets of Wicklow 5k with victory in the women’s race going to Linda Byrne in a time of 17.10 with Sarah Mulligan 2nd in 17.23 . In the men’s race Clive Quinn was 5th overall in 16.32 (3rd O/35) and Alan Bernie running a PB of 17.25
On the same day we had another female victor in the shape of Eimear Fitzmaurice who won the Manulla 4 mile in a time of 25.34. Shane Walsh broke 30 minutes for first for 5 miles with a 28.50 run in a local race in Offaly.
On Wednesday we had the Djouce Remembrance run with Robbie Costelloe 4th , Gareth Little 10th, Jack Drea 13th and Tomas Dunne 22nd.
Today at the Christmas Cracker 5k Peter O’Neill ran 18.07 ,Ollie McGrath 19.15 and Florrie Curley 20.51.
Back in Sean Moore park for session on Tuesday at 1.00pm.
