Storm Jorgay might have restricted most of the group from competing over the weekend but our hardy hill runners produced some remarkable results in the two respective races with everyone single one of the small select group winning something from their races. Yesterday was the rescheduled Ticknock Winter and Brian Kitson was our first finisher in 20th place but winner of the O/45 category. Brian McGuickian won the O/50 category and Conor Nolan made it a hat trick winning the O/60 and Conor Daly was runners up in the same category.
Today was the Tory Hill Imra race with Tom Lupton winning again and for good measure Ciaran Alyward also making the podium wit a fine 3rd place.
On the roads as far as I can make out Sabrina Keogh was our sole representative in the Duleek 5k and she didn’t let us down when she also finished 3rd Female overall in a time of 19.11.
As you can see outstanding achievements from all concerned.
