Small race report for this week. Des Kennedy ran the Barcelona Half Marathon in a very impressive 72.11 today. Yesterday Rory O’Connor comfortably won the Munster Indoor 3,000m in a decent time of 8.38. Back on the roads Linda Byrne finished 2nd in the Enniscorthy 10k in a time of 36.26 with Conor McCarthy 22nd in 37.14 and Johnny O’Brien running 40.51. Finally James Nealon finished in 33rd place in the National 50k championship in Donadea in a time of 4:11.
