Another great weekend on the competition front. Saturday we were up in Belfast for the Cross Country international.What a magnificent race Laura ran where she battled with the Irish Cross Country Champion , Shona Heaslip, every yard of the 6k course only to lose out by one second but still finish in a fine 13th place. This time last year Laura was running Bhaa cross country . This year she is mixing it with some of the worlds best.
On Sunday it was again the turn of the masters, this time the Leinster Masters cross country in Dunboyne. Both Clive and Niall followed their medal winning performances at their respective county championships with more medal winning performances with both taking bronze in their categories.Other good runs came from Terry B , Fergal R and Caoimhin. In the Womens masters Julia finished a fine 5th place in her category. We also had guys competing in the Intermediates at the same venue with Conor Mac 19th and Eoin K 38th.
